Endless journey of a family with specially abled child
It all started in 2007 when our son was born. He was cute and used to respond. When our son turned 5 months old, we flew to Japan on assignment. He did not mingle with kids. He used to play alone. He used to watch rhymes, songs in laptop most of the time. However he was interested to go to crowded places or where-ever sound was more. When we came back to India, due to his behavior issues, we showed to doctor. He was able to hear but did not speak even till the age of 4 yr. Dr mentioned that we need to give more time to him, play with him, talk with him. Then slowly he started speaking. However he had lot of behavior issues. Slowly we started going to behavior, ABA therapies. But we found that therapist are just making money and least bothered about the development of child. My wife learnt and she started giving all the therapies at home itself. Time passed and we were able to handle him. Now the time he entered his teenage, it started becoming difficult for both of us to handle him
